The New York Collection is inspired by the dynamic energy and iconic atmosphere of New York City, expressed through bold compositions and contemporary artistic techniques.
The series consists of 14 original works (#1–#14). While several pieces have already been sold, the collection represents an important part of TOMOYA’s exploration of one of the world’s most inspiring cities.
Although some paintings feature vibrant colors, New York has a timeless character that is beautifully reflected in monochrome. Many of the artworks are created on large-scale canvases, giving them a striking presence and powerful visual impact that makes them ideal statement pieces for contemporary interiors.
Every artwork in the collection is a one-of-a-kind original painting, created by hand and available in a single edition worldwide.

In addition to the paintings in the New York Collection, TOMOYA has created a series of mixed media artworks.
Rather than limiting the creative process to a single medium, these works combine a wide variety of materials and techniques, including spray paint, acrylic paint, oil paint, ink, photography, pen, and crayon. Depending on the artwork, more than eight different media and artistic techniques are layered together to create a single composition.
This experimental approach allows TOMOYA to develop a unique visual language, resulting in original artworks with exceptional depth, texture, and expression. Each piece reflects the artist’s commitment to innovation and individuality, making every work truly one of a kind.

This series was originally created with contemporary interiors in mind, with each artwork designed to bring character, atmosphere, and artistic expression into a space. Every piece has its own unique personality, capturing a beautiful and unrepeatable moment through art.
Some works feature a sophisticated matte finish that highlights the texture of the canvas, while others are finished with a smooth, glass-like coating that enhances the depth and vibrancy of the colors. Each artwork is entirely unique, offering its own distinctive presence and visual experience.
In addition to New York, this series also includes works inspired by other cities around the world, including Toronto (Canada), Paris (France), Tokyo, Yokohama, and Hong Kong. Each city is interpreted through TOMOYA’s distinctive artistic style, capturing its atmosphere and identity in a contemporary and expressive way.
